According to information from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, road maintenance workers are operating around the clock. They are engaged in clearing the roads of snow and spreading inert materials to prevent ice formation.
Additionally, on sections serviced by contracting organizations, regular work is being carried out to clear the roadway and widen the shoulders.
The Ministry of Transport strongly recommends that drivers planning long trips adhere to traffic rules, avoid driving into oncoming traffic, and carry necessary winter equipment.
