It is important to note that today, January 16, the roads at the passes of Kyrgyzstan are open and traffic is proceeding without restrictions, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the republic.
The state enterprises "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tushtuk" and "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Tunduk" are actively engaged in clearing the road surface of snow and treating slippery sections with a sand-salt mixture.
It is also worth considering that from January 17 to 19, sharp fluctuations in air temperature are expected. In this regard, the ministry recommends that drivers avoid driving in oncoming lanes, strictly follow traffic rules, and carry the necessary equipment.
