According to him, the plots that were previously owned by eight individuals are now fully returned to the municipality's management.
“We have returned the lands surrounding the stadium. All of them are now in municipal ownership. Some plots, which housed a gas station (GS), a car wash, and other facilities, were previously divided and transferred to private hands. We have returned all these plots, and the eight facilities related to the stadium now belong to the municipality again. All state acts have been updated, and the total area amounted to 1 hectare and 90 ares. Currently, a parking lot and a gas station are operational. If a warning is received, they will vacate the area at any time,” noted Shukurullo Sattarov.
Previously, the former head of the rural municipality, Ergeshaly Shanazarov, reported that in 2024, 15 ares of land related to the stadium were privatized by private individuals.
“The main part of the stadium remains in municipal ownership. However, in 1999, 15 ares of land near the road were sold. We are still continuing the legal process regarding this matter, and it is currently under consideration in court. At the moment, our claim has been partially satisfied, and the process is dragging on,” he added.
The stadium, built in 1978, has not received proper maintenance for many years, although some repair work has been carried out.
During the opening ceremony of the renovated section of the Nookat—Kyzyl-Kiya road, held on September 13, 2025, the phrase was heard: “If it is the will, next year we will build a modern, beautiful stadium.”
