Washing a carpet in the river deemed environmentally harmful
In one of the districts of Alay, a man was fined for washing a carpet in a mountain river to create a promotional video. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
According to the information from the ministry, the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service noticed a video that appeared on the internet. The video shows a man pouring paint on a carpet and washing it in flowing water, which sparked public discussion.
It turned out that the video was filmed by a citizen B.u.B. with the aim of promoting carpet products in the high-altitude pasture of Sary-Oy in the Alay district.
As a result of the investigation, the man was fined 10,000 soms for the violation under Article 236 of the KR Code, and he was also provided with explanatory work.
