The FOMS informed that the initiative to appeal to the EAEU Court regarding access for family members of workers to social security and mandatory health insurance was carried out on the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers and was submitted by the Judicial Representation Center of the Ministry of Justice.
This information emerged after a meeting of the committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, where Azamat Mukhanov, head of the FOMS, presented details on measures to protect the rights of workers and their families within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the fund, Kyrgyzstan is actively fulfilling its obligations within the Union. Family members of workers from EAEU countries who are legally present in Kyrgyzstan have access to medical services under the mandatory health insurance system, as provided for in the State Guarantees Program.
The Kyrgyz side systematically raises the issue of granting similar rights to the families of Kyrgyz citizens working in other countries of the Union. The appeal to the EAEU Court is seen as part of an ongoing dialogue within the framework of the integration association.
