Misleading the Public. The Bishkek City Hall Responded to the MP
The city administration clarified that Karybek uulu had requested data on planned activities in the Sverdlovsk district for 2024-2025, including project documentation, capital construction, as well as information on financing and timelines for implementation. All requested materials were provided in full.
In a comment from the city administration, it was also mentioned that the deputy did not raise the issue of how many children study at the school in "Ak-Bata," where there is currently an educational institution with a capacity of 620 students. The school has 48 classes, with 1,735 students enrolled, of which 260 are studying in the old building. The educational process is organized in two shifts.
Additionally, the city administration noted that the "Ak-Zhar" residential area arose as a result of land seizures, and currently, there are no available plots for the construction of new schools in that territory. Authorities are working on various solutions to improve the situation.
“This issue was also discussed on January 23 during a meeting between Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and residents of 'Ak-Bata,' who suggested considering the possibility of building a school on the territory adjacent to the Alamedin district. However, according to current legislation, the city administration cannot construct facilities outside of Bishkek,” the administration added.
