The mayor of the city of Osh ordered the demolition of the former vice-mayor's building.
Alymjan Baigazakov currently holds the position of auditor of the Accounts Chamber
Jenyshbek Toktorbaev, the mayor of Osh, has issued an order for the demolition of a four-story building owned by Alymjan Baigazakov, who previously held the position of deputy mayor and is now the auditor of the Accounts Chamber. This information was revealed in reports from the mayor's office.
The order was made today during a morning inspection with the heads of the relevant services.
The building is located on Tilek Baatyra Street, near the old bus station, and was constructed in the water protection zone of the Ak-Buura River without obtaining the necessary permits.
The mayor's office noted that the owner had repeatedly received official demands for demolition, but the building remains in place.
Also slated for demolition are neighboring structures, including the old bus station No. 1, which has long ceased to function.
Furthermore, the city administration reminded that earlier, by the mayor's order, the neighboring building of the "Kristall" hotel, which is also associated with the former deputy mayor, was demolished.
