In Bishkek, the development of youth sports was discussed


In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, a working meeting was held, chaired by Kanibek Zholchubekov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the city administration, gathering heads of specialized children and youth Olympic reserve schools (SDYUSHOR).

During the meeting, important aspects of the development of both youth and professional sports in Bishkek were discussed. Participants focused on issues of planning and rational use of budget funds, organizing city tournaments, as well as republican and international competitions.

Particular attention was paid to improving the work of sports schools, creating conditions for training highly qualified athletes, and developing the sports reserve of the capital.

Currently, there are 12 specialized children and youth Olympic reserve schools operating in Bishkek, which play a key role in training future athletes and shaping the sports potential of the city.
