At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development, held on January 26, the head of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, Jenaly Orozbaev, reported on the directive to the Academy of Public Administration to return 13 million soms to students.

In response, the academy's management clarified that its full official name is the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Jusup Abdrakhmanov.

They also noted that this concerns graduates of the bachelor's program who studied at the institution from 2020 to 2024.

In a comment from the APU KR, it is emphasized that during the specified period, no complaints about the quality of education were received from students, and the academy fully fulfilled its obligations. All students who successfully completed their studies received state diplomas.

Furthermore, the academy reported that since 2014, the cost of contract education for bachelor's students has remained at 46,000 soms per year.

“This amount will not change for students enrolled in these programs, despite the decision made in 2025 to close and cease enrollment for the bachelor's program. The academy adheres to the principle of social responsibility and does not plan to increase tuition fees for the remaining students,” the academy's comment states.
