At Issyk-Kul, poaching nets continue to be identified and disposed of
A raid aimed at combating poaching took place on Issyk-Kul. Inspectors from the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Environmental and Technical Supervision, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, confiscated illegal fishing nets, which were sent for disposal, as reported by the agency's press service.
Together with the environmental police, the inspectors organized preventive measures and monitoring for tourists aimed at preventing illegal fishing and cleaning water bodies.
During the inspection between the settlements of Oruktu and Zharkynbaev, a new hidden net was discovered and confiscated. Additionally, the nets collected since the beginning of January were handed over to the territorial unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for destruction in accordance with established requirements.
