In the Jalal-Abad region, 65,000 smart meters will be installed for electricity accounting.
New meters will protect electrical equipment from overloads and damage
In the Jalal-Abad region, the installation of over 65,000 smart meters for accounting electricity consumption is expected. This information was provided by representatives of the Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Company.
According to the state program for digitalization, by 2025, 82,000 such devices will be installed in the region. They have already been deployed in the Suzak and Bazar-Korgon districts, as well as in the cities of Mailuu-Suu and Kara-Kul.
It is planned that new smart meters will appear in the Kok-Art valley of the Suzak district, as well as in the Toktogul and Nooken districts.
“These devices not only ensure accurate accounting of electricity but also protect equipment from overloads and potential damage. Remote monitoring minimizes the human factor in calculations and provides up-to-date and accurate information about electricity consumption. In addition, they help identify illegal connections and contribute to more rational resource use,” the agency emphasizes.
