Aziz Abakirov: IT Specialists of Kyrgyzstan Have Become a Brand » Gazeta.kg

At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to education, science, innovation, information technology, culture, sports, and youth policy, the director of the High Technology Park, Azis Abakirov, reported that IT specialists from Kyrgyzstan have gained recognition on the international stage.

Abakirov emphasized that 463 companies are registered in the High Technology Park, of which about 94% of services are exported to more than 70 countries worldwide.

“Approximately 3,000 people work in the resident companies of the HTP, of which 90% are Kyrgyz citizens. Currently, we are focused on attracting digital nomads,” he added.

According to him, the total number of IT specialists in Kyrgyzstan is about 20,000, and they work in a wide variety of companies. He also noted that “there are no companies in the world where Kyrgyz citizens do not work.”
