Recently, a meeting was held in the Chui region organized by the authorized representative of the president, Azmat Osmonov, with farmers and agricultural producers from the Panfilov and Jayil districts. The main topic of discussion was the upcoming spring irrigation works and issues related to the fair distribution of irrigation water.
According to the press service of the president's representative, Osmonov emphasized that the provision of water for irrigation must occur strictly in accordance with the legislation and established norms. He stressed that there would be no additional conditions, personal agreements, or leniencies, regardless of friendly or family ties.
“All farmers must have equal conditions for work. Transparency and adherence to common rules are the key to a successful irrigation season,” noted the representative.
He also added that only the joint efforts of the state and farmers, as well as strict compliance with the legislation, can ensure the fair distribution of water.
Additionally, Azmat Osmonov proposed to actively implement the technology of winter moisture-charging irrigation using the freezing method. According to him, this technology contributes to better moisture accumulation in the soil, rational use of water resources, and reduces the risks of water shortages during the growing season.
Government bodies and local authorities have been instructed to enhance efforts to explain this method to farmers and assist in its practical application, especially in areas where water resources are limited.
