She noted that an alarm button has been installed in each educational institution, with an annual budget of 15 million soms allocated for its maintenance.
“Out of the total number, 116 schools and 118 kindergartens are equipped with fire alarms. In some educational institutions in the Lenin district and three kindergartens, the installation of this alarm system is still ongoing. Additionally, the Ministry of Emergency Situations regularly checks the correctness of the installation of fire boxes, hydrants, and other equipment. Fire drills are conducted according to schedule, and so far there have been no complaints; the work is being carried out in accordance with the legislation,” she added.
Furthermore, Victoria Mozgacheva emphasized that all educational institutions are subject to mandatory insurance.
She reminded that in May 2025, there was smoke in the director's office at school No. 63, for which the State Insurance Organization reimbursed the repair costs.
Also, young rescuers and fire brigades operate in schools, undergoing continuous training and participating in competitions in a playful manner to enhance their skills, the deputy mayor noted.
