The press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region reported that due to worsening weather conditions and the onset of snowfall, the work on clearing the Bishkek—Osh highway from snow and treating it with inert materials has been significantly increased. These measures are aimed at maintaining safety on the roads.
The Moscow district traffic safety department urged motorists to adhere to traffic rules. "Since early morning, employees of road enterprises No. 28 and No. 40 have been working in an enhanced mode, clearing the Bishkek—Kara-Balta highway of snow and conducting similar work on the Belyvodskoye-Tölök road. If measures to clear the snow are not taken promptly, the roads may become blocked, creating a dangerous situation. Therefore, we strongly urge drivers: strictly adhere to traffic rules, avoid speeding, and do not enter the oncoming lane," the inspectors noted.
