In the Ministry of Defense, the prevention of suicides among personnel of law enforcement agencies was discussed.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the meeting was chaired by Tariel Otonbaev, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defense. Representatives from various agencies participated in the round table, including the Border Service of the State National Security Committee, Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Service for Execution of Sentences, as well as the Ministries of Education, Science, Higher Education and Innovations, Culture, Information and Youth Policy, the Military Prosecutor's Office, the Main Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the State National Security Committee, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims, as well as professors from KNU, BGU, KRSU and representatives of public organizations.
During the discussion, reports were presented by employees of the Ministry of Defense regarding the conscription of citizens for military and alternative service, improving the selection process for conscripts, as well as the importance of educational work and the organization of health and preventive measures in military units.
Participants also heard information from representatives of the Military Prosecutor's Office and the Main Department for Combating Corruption of the State National Security Committee.
At the conclusion of the round table, there was a expressed desire to continue joint cooperation in the area of preventing offenses and suicides among the personnel of law enforcement agencies.
