During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputies discussed and adopted the draft law "On Labor Protection" in its first reading.
According to Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration Kamchybek Dosmatov, this initiative is aimed at creating safe and healthy conditions for workers, preventing workplace accidents and occupational diseases, as well as optimizing the labor protection system at both the enterprise and state levels for its further improvement.
The draft law lays the legal foundation for effective monitoring of compliance with labor safety standards and norms, and also creates conditions for increasing employers' responsibility for the quality of working conditions.
