At the third division World Championship (Group B) taking place in Bishkek, the youth national hockey team of Kyrgyzstan (U-20) continues to amaze its fans.
In the third round match held on January 21, the Kyrgyz team achieved an impressive victory over the team of Iran with a score of 15:1, leading by a huge margin of 8:0 already in the first period. Four goals were scored by Alikhan Ali-Askarov, while Umar Egemberdiev and Yegor Leshchenko each scored three goals.
After three matches played, the Kyrgyzstan team has accumulated 9 points and confidently holds the leading position in the tournament table.
The next match will be held on January 22 at 20:00 against Luxembourg.
