The Minister spoke about the reasons for high salaries
In Kyrgyzstan, the salaries of employees at the Ministry of Construction can reach 500,000 soms. This was reported by Nurdana Oruntaev, the head of the department, commenting on rumors that the average salary in the ministry is around 150,000 soms.
During an interview with NTRK, it became known that the average monthly income of Ministry of Construction employees ranges from 150,000 to 160,000 soms. In addition to this, employees receive bonuses, quarterly payments, and various incentives, which allows the total salary to reach 200,000 soms, and in some departments, even 500,000 soms.
“Our departments operate on a self-financing basis. On average, the salary in the ministry is 150,000 soms, however, in certain departments, it can significantly exceed this amount,” the minister explained.
He also noted that the level of income directly depends on the quality of work of each employee. The ministry employs highly qualified specialists, such as architects, builders, designers, and engineers, whose work is in demand in the market. These professionals are involved in document verification and the design of complex multi-apartment and engineering facilities, for which they receive a corresponding high salary.
