This information sparked active discussions on social media, and on January 21, the minister decided to clarify the situation.
“Our departments operate on a self-financing mechanism. The average salary of employees is 150,000 soms, but in some departments, it can reach 500,000 soms.
In other words, the level of earnings depends on labor productivity. Our workers are highly qualified specialists, including many architects, builders, engineers, and designers. Their work is highly valued in the market. They are responsible for checking documents and project documentation for complex construction projects. That is why their salaries are at this level,” the minister noted on his Facebook page.
