The conference features Islamic scholars and representatives from over 30 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The opening of the forum began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by welcoming speeches from the Minister of Awqaf and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Dr. Usama al-Azhari, the Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar, Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, as well as the Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Nazir Muhammad Iyad, and representatives of religious authorities from Palestine, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Djibouti.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at this significant event by Abdulaaziz Azhy Tutashpaev, an employee of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims. He conveyed greetings from the Mufti and the Muslims of the Kyrgyz Republic and delivered a report on the role of artificial intelligence in the Islamic worldview, emphasizing that Islamic civilization is based on reason and ethical values, and that human dignity must remain at the center of technological progress.
The conference also includes planned scientific sessions, workshops, and panel discussions. Key discussion topics include the Islamic history of professions, plagiarism, ethical aspects of artificial intelligence, inter-civilizational integration, and entrepreneurship.
The main goal of the forum is to strengthen the exchange of experiences among Islamic scholars from various regions, including the Balkans, and to discuss the possibility of coexistence of traditional Islamic values in the context of rapid technological progress.
