According to him, after more than one meter of snow fell in the region, the roof of the educational institution collapsed in three places. The construction of this facility was completed in December 2025 with funding from a charitable foundation.
The akim noted that at the time of the incident, there were no students in the school building.
“The collapse occurred on the night of January 20. As of today, the contractors have completed the repair work and reinforced the structure. However, since the necessary documentation is still not finalized, the educational process in the new school has not yet started, and the children continue to study in the old building,” Madyarov explained.
He also added that the issue is under constant control, and a commission will conduct a re-examination of all structural joints of the building for deficiencies in the near future.
It is worth noting that the construction of the two-story school, designed for 150 students, began in June 2024 and was completed in December 2025.
