By the end of 2029, the "Bedel" automobile checkpoint, located on the border between Kyrgyzstan and China, will operate around the clock. This decision is part of a strategy approved by the country's cabinet of ministers until 2030.
With the introduction of the new schedule, the throughput of the checkpoint will exceed 1,000 trucks per day, and the time required for passage will be reduced to 15 minutes.
It is worth noting that the "Bedel" checkpoint was put into operation in September 2024 and is the third crossing point between Kyrgyzstan and China. The operation of this checkpoint is complicated due to the high-altitude climate, so additional infrastructure is currently being created to ensure its functioning around the clock.
