The throughput will exceed 1,000 vehicles per day, and the average waiting time at the border for a single vehicle will not exceed 15 minutes.
The "Bedyel" checkpoint, located on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, was opened on September 3, 2024, in the Issyk-Kul region. Construction of the road from Barskoon to Bedyel will begin on August 27, 2025, which will ensure connectivity between Kyrgyzstan and the Chinese cities of Aksu and Uchturfan. In addition, the Cabinet is considering the possibility of building a railway along this route in the future.
