The deputy believes that a new philharmonic building should be constructed in Bishkek.
He noted that the philharmonic plays an important role in hosting various events both at the national and international levels, highlighting the relevance of its renovation.
“This building should not only meet modern requirements but also become a symbol of culture, history, and traditions, embodying Kyrgyz heritage,” the deputy added.
Currently, the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov is located at the corner of Chuy and Manas Avenues. The building, constructed in 1980, has a facade facing the Bishkek City Hall and is surrounded by a statue of Manas, as well as fountains on its territory.
