The deputy raised the issue of school construction and the status of the village in the Osh region.
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Nurjamal Torobekova raised the issue of granting village status to the Ozhor area, which is located in the Ayil Okmotu of Mady Kara-Suu district in Osh region.
According to her, approximately 500 families live in this area, the majority of whom are ethnic Kyrgyz and young families.
She noted that back in 2003, a plot of land was allocated for the construction of a medical and obstetric point, a kindergarten, and a school; however, construction has not yet begun. As a result, children have to attend school in the neighboring village of Bash-Bulak, where an educational institution designed for 480 places actually serves about 1900 students, she added.
Torobekova also drew attention to the village of Kyzyl-Tal, where about 1700 families live, totaling more than 5000 people, and where there is also no school.
Children from this village are forced to travel to the city, spending about an hour on the road. Additionally, she mentioned the problem of irrigation: there is no irrigation water in the region, which complicates agricultural activities, the deputy emphasized.
