In the Enver Gareev Botanical Garden, the construction of a mini-football field is planned. This area has long been considered unsuitable for botanical needs, as reported by Deputy Director Nurlan Albanov in an interview with "Birinchi Radio."

According to Albanov, the project has received approval from the president and the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences, and capital construction on the territory of the garden is not planned.

“What is left of the Botanical Garden?” A new alarming video is being discussed online.

“A regular open-air mini-football field will be created with a light fence to prevent the ball from going out of bounds. It will occupy about 15-16 hundred square meters and will be located on a plot that has remained rocky and uncultivated for decades,” the deputy director clarified.

Albanov also noted that the Botanical Garden, established in 1962 on the banks of the Alamedin River, originally included areas with heavy and rocky soil. Despite attempts to improve the land, this part has not been developed for botanical purposes.

Representatives of the institution assured that the modernization will not affect the green plantings and scientific collections of the garden.
