The reason was the consequences of the scandalous interview with Zhapikeev
Ernis Kyazov, a journalist, reported being summoned for a conversation at the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) following his interview with the former head of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (SSCEC) Syimyk Zhapikeev.
On his Facebook page, he shared that he spent an hour and a half at the SCNS office, where the communication was "polite and correct."
Committee representatives noted that they are interested in maintaining a stable situation in the country, to which Kyazov responded that his goals in journalism align with these aspirations.
It is worth noting that the podcast featuring Zhapikeev sparked various reactions in society, including debates about his assessment of the works of Chyngyz Aitmatov, which he referred to as "five-kopeck stories."
