In Bishkek, a meeting was held dedicated to compliance with traffic rules by public transport drivers and issues of road safety. According to the press service of the city hall, the meeting summarized the results of regular raids conducted every week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the busiest stops in the city.
In addition, to prevent traffic accidents, explanatory activities and additional briefings for drivers were conducted.
During the discussions, the main factors contributing to accidents were identified, and measures aimed at increasing the responsibility of public transport drivers and further tightening control over compliance with traffic rules were proposed.
