A Bishkek woman has been fighting for her children for almost two years after their father subjected them to abuse.
A woman sought help from the Ombudsman and Kamchybek Tashiev.
Aizhamal Janibekova, a resident of the capital, turned to Ombudsman Jamilya Jamambaeva, head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the UN, requesting protection for her children from their father. She published her appeal on the Facebook platform.
According to the woman, she has been fighting for her children's rights for almost two years, as they have become victims of violence. Despite having seven protection orders, conclusions from psychologists and experts, as well as protocols of children's interrogations and a court ruling to deprive the father of parental rights, the case continues to drag on.
The woman also expresses suspicions of interference from her husband's relatives and friends, who, in her opinion, are using their connections in law enforcement to delay the process. In this regard, she is seeking help from the authorities.
