In the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has launched an information campaign that will last for a week and will be dedicated to automated information systems.
According to the ministry, there are currently 35 information systems functioning in the country, of which 22 have already been fully put into operation, while 10 are in the development stage. As part of the campaign, the automated system "Digital VET" of the Veterinary, Animal Husbandry, Pastures, and Feed Service was presented.
The service actively uses the "Sanarip VET" system for monitoring animal products. This tool facilitates the exchange of information between the central office of the service, its regional divisions, and veterinary control points at the border.
The "Sanarip VET" system is integrated with other government systems, such as "Tündük" and the Unified Identification System (UIS) provided by the state enterprise "Infocom." This ensures the ability to verify all electronic documents using an electronic digital signature.
At the moment:
— the "Sanarip VET" system operates at all border veterinary points and territorial administrations;
— inspectors and specialists actively use it in their daily activities;
— all animals and animal products imported into the Kyrgyz Republic must be registered in the system;
— veterinary documents, including certificates and veterinary inspection reports, can now be issued electronically through this system.
Previously, all veterinary documents were issued only on paper, but now the possibility of electronic submission has been implemented, including:
* four types of veterinary certificates for use within the EAEU;
* 49 different veterinary certificates for goods coming from third countries.
The main task of the "Sanarip VET" system is to ensure reliable identification and control of products under veterinary supervision, as well as to combat counterfeit goods entering the country and enhance food security for the population.
