According to information published by Variety magazine, Roger Allers, one of the creators of the famous animated film "The Lion King," passed away at the age of 76.
In addition to "The Lion King," Allers also contributed to the creation of such animated films as "Tron," "Oliver & Company," "The Little Mermaid," "Aladdin," and "Beauty and the Beast."

His career at Disney began with the development of conceptual ideas for the sci-fi film "Tron," which was released in 1982. He later worked as a storyboard artist on "Oliver & Company" and "The Little Mermaid," before becoming the story lead on "Beauty and the Beast" and co-director of "The Lion King."
