"Neftchi" appointed a new head coach from Uzbekistan
It has been officially announced that the new head coach of the football club "Neftchi" is the 51-year-old Uzbek specialist Dmitry An. He will lead the team in the upcoming season of the Kyrgyz Premier League.
Dmitry An has significant experience in Uzbek football, having previously worked at Tashkent's "Pahtakor," and last season held a position at the "Navbahor" academy. His training approach focuses on the development of young players, which has made him well-known in football circles.
Among the notable trainees of Dmitry An is Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbos Faizullaev, who previously played for Moscow's CSKA and currently plays for the Turkish club "Istanbul Başakşehir."
Another Uzbek specialist, Timur Babakhanov, has also joined the coaching staff of "Neftchi" and will serve as the assistant head coach.
As a result of the last season of the Kyrgyz Premier League, the "Neftchi" team finished in 9th place. During the championship, the club was initially led by Russian coach Alexander Mochinov, and then management passed to Kyrgyz specialist Anatoly Vlasichev. The club's management expects that with the arrival of Dmitry An, the team's results in the new season will significantly improve.
