He is accused of not vacating his official residence after the end of his term

Myrlan Samykozo, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, decided to comment on rumors circulating on social media that he has not vacated his official apartment. He made the corresponding statement on his Facebook page.

According to him, the deadline for vacating the official housing is set for January 19, and he believes that not all previous tenants have managed to return the apartments yet. Samykozo added that the issue of his relatives living there is purely personal and should not serve as a basis for accusations.

He also noted that the apartment has already been vacated, and the keys have been handed over to the caretaker. To confirm his words, the ex-deputy invited anyone interested to verify this in person and attached a video.

Additionally, he denied rumors that he allegedly approached current deputies asking to secure housing for himself, urging those who make such claims to name names. In conclusion, he noted that attempts to "look for flaws and belittle over trivial matters" have their limits and addressed this to his colleagues.

There is also information circulating on social media that the ex-deputy resides in the "Achekey" complex, located in the "Kok-Zhar" residential area, and that his sister allegedly occupies the official apartment without vacating it after his term ended.

It should be noted that this property is on the balance of the parliament. Meanwhile, the ex-deputy is reportedly avoiding communication with the staff of the parliamentary apparatus and is trying to negotiate with one of the new deputies about re-registering the housing.
