Restrictions for freight transport have been introduced at the Ala-Bel pass
The Ministry of Transport and Communications reports the introduction of temporary restrictions on traffic on several roads. This decision was made due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and the risk of avalanches.
From 19:00 on January 16, traffic for all types of vehicles is closed on the routes Ala-Buka – Jany-Bazar – Kirovka and Krasnaya Gorka – Ak-Tash.
As the press service clarifies, road services have already begun work to clear these sections.
Additionally, from 20:00 on January 16, restrictions for heavy vehicles have been introduced at the Ala-Bel pass, located on the Bishkek – Osh highway, at the Aral post.
