The "Legprom" Association has initiated a proposal to extend the validity of work visas for citizens of Bangladesh who are working in Kyrgyzstan. This statement was made by a representative of the organization at a meeting of the "Ala-Too" committee of the parliament.
According to the association's representative, labor migrants from Bangladesh arrive in the republic, who are officially registered and pay taxes. These workers diligently fulfill their duties on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

“We propose to consider the possibility of extending visas for migrants registered through companies. The contracts clearly outline the working conditions and duration of work,” she noted.

The association's representative also warned of potential risks of disrupting production processes if the visas are not extended.

The director of the "Legprom" Association, Azamat Kerimbek uulu, added that some employers do not comply with the terms of contracts, failing to provide housing, which results in difficulties for foreign citizens regarding accommodation. At the same time, there are companies that fully comply with the rules and fulfill tax obligations. According to him, if all conditions are met, labor costs may turn out to be lower.

“In their messengers, there are groups where they report salaries of 500-600 dollars. In the evening, they pack their things and leave. We submit applications, and in the end, these people become illegal. The situation is very complicated right now — foreign workers have become less qualified than local seamstresses, who move from one workshop to another. But it is worth noting that our law enforcement agencies are actively responding to these issues,” he emphasized, adding that this area needs to be regulated.
