The project for the installation of 35,600 "smart" meters has been successfully completed in the Talas region, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the information from the ministry, the installation of meters covered areas such as Aitmatov, Manas, Bakai-Ata, and Talas.
Of the total number of installed meters, 31,280 are single-phase, which were planned and fully implemented. In addition, 4,320 new model three-phase meters were replaced and connected.
In particular, 8,268 meters were installed in the Bakai-Ata region.
In the Aitmatov region — 11,032 meters.
In the Talas region — 11,164 meters.
In the Manas region — 5,136 meters.
The installation work continues and will be carried out in stages. These new meters provide more accurate accounting of electricity, allow for timely detection of malfunctions, reduce losses, and simplify the payment process for users.
