LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" restores correct data transmission from gas meters with telemetry
From October to November 2025, there were issues with the transmission of readings from several gas meters installed at subscribers' premises. Due to the lack of necessary data, the billing for gas was carried out based on the available information, which led to errors in the invoices.
By the end of December, all meters re-established communication, allowing for the collection of accumulated readings, including data for the period of disruptions. As a result, the charges for December were higher than expected for some consumers, as they included actual consumption for nearly two months. This caused justified dissatisfaction among subscribers, prompting the company to provide clarifications.
Currently, the technical issues have been resolved, and data transmission from gas meters is occurring in normal mode. Charges for January and subsequent months will be based solely on actual readings.
The company also emphasizes that all gas meters are functioning properly. They have passed state verification, are registered in the State Register of Measuring Instruments, and meet the necessary standards for accuracy and reliability. The problem with data transmission was related not to the quality of the devices themselves, but to the specifics of processing telemetry information.
LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" apologizes for the inconvenience caused and expresses gratitude to subscribers for their understanding. The company continues its efforts to improve the quality and reliability of remote gas metering systems.
