According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department, these inspections are necessary to ensure the quality and uninterrupted execution of work in the road sector and to create safe conditions for drivers and pedestrians. As part of the activities, special vehicles and stocks of materials used for road surface treatment are being examined.
Given the expected deterioration of weather conditions, including snowfall, road services have already been put on heightened alert.
