ISS crew made an emergency return to Earth due to astronaut's illness
The crew consisted of NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fink, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov, and JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui. They spent 165 days on the ISS.
The early completion of the mission is related to health issues of one of the participants, whose identity has not been disclosed. Information about the illness emerged on January 8, following the cancellation of a scheduled spacewalk.
Currently, Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov (station commander) and Sergey Mikaev, as well as NASA astronaut Christopher Williams, remain aboard the ISS. The next mission, Crew-12, is expected to arrive at the station in mid-February.
