According to one official, these three Gulf countries have conducted active and prolonged diplomatic efforts to convince Trump to give Iran the opportunity to demonstrate its goodwill.
Furthermore, these states continue to negotiate with the U.S. to "build trust and maintain a positive atmosphere," he added.
Saudi Arabia and its neighbors have strongly urged U.S. authorities to refrain from attacks on Tehran, emphasizing that such actions could provoke instability in the oil markets and harm the U.S. economy, as previously reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Additionally, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, stated that Trump has already informed Tehran of his intention not to attack the country and requested restraint, avoiding attacks on American facilities in the region.
