The process of dismantling the main New Year tree in Ala-Too Square has begun in Bishkek. City service employees have started removing decorations and ornaments. This was reported by the capital's mayor's office to the Kabar agency.
For reference, the main tree of the country was lit on December 15. Its decoration was designed in a unified style reflecting the symbolism of the city, the monument to Manas, and the renovated Ala-Too Square. This year, over 7,000 ornaments in blue and silver colors were placed on the tree.
In addition to the tree, an ice rink, a walking area, and a food court were operating in the square.
