A Young Athlete Was Gifted an Apartment at Issyk-Kul

Young athlete Kubanych Taldybekov now has his own home — a one-bedroom apartment in the village of Bosteri, located in the Issyk-Kul region. This became possible after a video showcasing his difficult living conditions appeared on social media two weeks ago. The situation attracted the attention of not only the public but also government authorities.

In response to the emerging issues, local authorities decided to provide Kubanych with temporary housing and took steps to improve his living conditions.
Today, January 15, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, handed over the keys to the new apartment to Kubanych and expressed hope for his future success in sports.
“The support provided creates the necessary conditions for the full training of the young athlete, which will allow him to achieve high results in the future and represent the country with dignity,” the official statement said.
