The Handball Federation has joined the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan
At the meeting of the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, held on January 13, an important decision was made to include the Handball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic in its composition.
The President of the NOC, Umbetaly Kydyraliev, presented participants with a detailed report on the achievements of the national teams of Kyrgyzstan on international arenas in 2025. In his report, he emphasized significant results, as well as the participation of athletes in world and Asian championships, including issues of preparation for upcoming important tournaments.
During the discussion, the participants of the General Assembly also considered the financial and organizational aspects of the NOC's work. One of the key issues concerned the results of the audit for the reporting period, which confirmed compliance with all standards and the transparency of the organization's financial activities.
The inclusion of the Handball Federation in the NOC of the Kyrgyz Republic symbolizes the official recognition of this sport at the Olympic level. This opens new horizons for the development of handball in the country, allows the federation to participate more actively in international initiatives, claim Olympic solidarity, improve the training of national teams, and promote the development of youth handball.
