Trolleybuses contribute to the development of the country's transport infrastructure, providing eco-friendly mobility for all citizens, including people with disabilities and children.In honor of this anniversary, the #Bishkek Smog initiative invites everyone to a festive event on January 16 at 17:00 at: Orozbekova St., 87, Park Hotel Bishkek, Ballroom, 2nd floor.
Among the honored guests will be participants from the trolleybus management – we invite everyone who has ever worked in the field of electric transport!
Event Program
First Part: Round Table with Experts- 17:00-17:15 - Welcome speech from representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Bishkek City Hall (confirmation expected).
- 17:15-17:30 - "History and Modernity of Urban Electric Transport" - presentation by researcher Yegor Muleev from the Leibniz Institute of Regional Geography (Leipzig, Germany) in online format.
- 17:30-17:45 - Presentation by Professor Ángel Aparicio from UNDP Kyrgyzstan on the electric mobility project. He has been a professor of transport at the Faculty of Transport, Environment and Urban Planning at the Technical University of Madrid since 2009 (online, with translation into English).
- 17:45-18:00 - Speeches from representatives of the UN Human Rights Office, EBRD, ADB, and "Bir Duyno - Kyrgyzstan" (confirmation expected).
- 18:00-18:30 - Discussion and questions from participants.
- 18:30-18:50 - Quiz on electric transport.
- 18:50-19:30 - Musical performances and honoring of veterans from the trolleybus management.
