The products of "Kyrgyzfilm" cannot be used without permission - Ministry of Culture
The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic has issued a statement that the products of the National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm" named after Tolomush Okeyev cannot be used or distributed without the permission of the rights holder.
The ministry clarified that all audiovisual works created earlier belong to the producing organization. This means that for screening, reuse, broadcasting, as well as for placing films on the internet and social media platforms, it is essential to conclude a contract with the rights holder.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Culture emphasized that any actions related to the use of films without the appropriate permission violate the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and may lead to legal consequences. At the same time, the film studio expressed its readiness to cooperate with the media industry and other interested parties within the framework of the current legislation.
