In the city of Manas, streets will be closed from January 19 due to the dismantling of the railway.
The work is being carried out by the southern division of the national company "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu," and according to information from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, starting from January 19, restrictions on vehicle movement will be introduced on the following streets:
J. Bakiev Street;
D. Malashev Street;
B. Botokaraev Street;
Pushkin Street.
Traffic will be closed in turn, with vehicles being redirected to alternative routes. The dismantling work is proceeding according to the established schedule and is expected to be completed by February 1, 2026.
It was also previously reported that a four-lane road is planned to be built on the site of the old railway track.
