In Kyrgyzstan, 35 cases of violation of phytosanitary standards were identified in 2025.

In 2025, 35 cases of non-compliance with phytosanitary requirements were registered in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as a result of these violations, the following products were returned to the senders:

562.5 tons of agricultural products;
70,515 seedlings;
11,387 flowering plants;
136 cubic meters of lumber.

Among the violations:

from Kazakhstan - 15 cases, 271.88 tons;
from Russia - 5 cases, 117 tons, 136 m³;
from Uzbekistan – 7 cases, 80.82 tons, 70,515 pcs;
from China - 4 cases, 51.28 tons, 8,050 pieces of flowers;
from Tajikistan - 1 case, 3.5 tons;
from the USA - 1 case, 18 tons;
from Mongolia - 1 case, 20 tons;
from the Netherlands - 1 case, 3,337 pcs.

In response to the identified violations, measures were taken, including return, destruction, or processing of the products. Notes were also sent to China and the Netherlands through diplomatic channels.
