Over the past year, the mayor of the city of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, reported an income of 1.93 million soms in his tax declaration.

According to the provided data, he owns a residential house with an area of 1500 square meters, three hotels, and a shopping center, in each of which he holds a 100% stake.

It is worth noting that the real estate market in Kyrgyzstan has undergone significant changes in recent years. By the end of 2024, the average rental price for an apartment in Osh ranged from 17,000 to 30,000 soms, and by the end of 2025, it is expected to be between 25,000 and 50,000 soms for a one-room apartment. Commercial rental prices have an even wider range — from 20 to 500 dollars per square meter, depending on location and the availability of transport infrastructure.

Overall, over the past 8 months, the cost of houses in this region has increased by 19.3%.
