The hawk has arrived in the Batken village
According to information from the Department of Protected Natural Areas and Biodiversity of the Batken Regional Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, specialists examined the bird along with an expert, and after that, the hawk was returned to its natural habitat.
This bird belongs to the falcon family and is known as a powerful predator with yellowish plumage on its head. Typically, hawks prefer mountainous and forested areas for living.
Ecologists note that the hawk in Kyrgyzstan is a rather rare species and plays a significant role in maintaining natural balance. There is a strict ban on the illegal keeping of wild animals that are under protection in the country.
